Within the 200-acre working ranch is the Pence Vineyard. Seen from above, the vineyard itself appears as an island within a larger land mass that has been slowly eroded over time on all sides.
For most of my adult life, I have been obsessed with Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. For many years, I travelled to Burgundy trying to understand the making of what I believe to be the world’s greatest wines.
